My interest in a clean, simple and natural way of life has kept on growing over the past ten years as the connection between my mind and body has condensed and thoughts on what is essential in life have become clearer. I am a professional painter, actor and a former Olympic athlete, which means that each of my professional endeavours has been highly physical.
Well-being is something that I think could be called levity in earthliness. Last year, I published a vegan cookbook called Vegemania, and my need for a more natural lifestyle has grown stronger as the simplicity of life has intoxicated me with its wisdom.

Mert Otsamo is one of the most prominent fashion designers in Finland. A young fashion designer who loves drama, contrast and feminine curves, Mert has achieved widespread attention and interest due to the strong design language of his designs.
For the past four years, Mert has been designing clothes for the best-known actors and artists in the country and he is also one of the go-to designers for the Finnish Independence Day Ball.
Mert has also worked on numerous wedding and custom projects for private clients and has been praised for his design language as well as the individuality expressed by his pieces, tailored specifically for each client.

Hello! I have been a performing artist for a whopping 58 years. Over the course of my journey I have travelled many miles and spent lots of time in planes, cars and make-up chairs. I have recorded approximately 400 songs at home and abroad, performed in numerous television shows and theatres, and represented Finland in several international song competitions. I have also been at the forefront of pioneering live entertainment in Finnish restaurants.
Already as a young girl I noticed that my skin was very dry and sensitive. Throughout the years, my skin has required special care, not least because my profession requires I use huge amounts of different kinds of make-up and cleansers.

I was introduced to Olivia Klein products in 2015 and they saved my skin. I had just returned to Finland after 17 years spent in Paris and my skin had literally begun to tighten around my face. I felt as if a dry mask had been permanently left on my face and I could not get rid of it.
I started modelling at 20, so I’m used to taking care of my skin with the best and strongest products available. I feel I’ve worked my way through the world’s entire cosmetics selection many times over. Once I turned 40, nothing would work and it felt as if my face was rejecting everything and reacting to everything by going dry, breaking out and itching. I don’t know if it was my age, hormones, three pregnancies, the return to Finland’s wonderful, but demanding, climate, or just my skin being used to strong creams. Perhaps all of them together. But I genuinely felt uncomfortable.
I’m so grateful I found Olivia Klein products and that they mirror my ethical and ecological values. I am an actor and entrepreneur. I feel most at home in the forest and I feel there’s something special about the sea. It speaks to me deeply. Living nourishment and ethically produced organic food are the bases for health and well-being, because nourishment has an enormous effect on us.
My acting career has taken a toll on my face and I have now developed rosacea. Before this, I didn’t have to worry about my skin and I was able to use any kind of cosmetics. Now I have to be incredibly careful with the products I use, and my skin can’t even tolerate beauty salon treatments anymore. Even food and temperature fluctuations make my skin react easily; I break out and sometimes the surface of my skin gets damaged.
I’ve finally found safe and suitable products in Olivia Klein. I can use them daily without fearing that my whole face will break out in red spots. My skin has grown stronger, calmer and the flashes of redness I used to suffer from have decreased significantly. I’ll always have rosacea, but luckily its symptoms can be reduced and controlled.
